ETHOS & VALUES
I am privileged to be the Head Teacher of Phoenix Academy and to support children and young people who have experienced difficulties in other educational settings to achieve their individual potential.
Our students are the centre of everything we do; we believe that all children should achieve academically, socially and emotionally. Through promoting equity throughout our school, we recognise individual differences and celebrate diversity, we provide support and education to meet the needs of each individual child or young person, enabling them to achieve nationally recognised qualifications, develop key skills, strengths and resilience, thus promoting personal wellbeing and a secure future.
Our ethos embraces the Phoenix values of honesty, empathy, aspiration, respect and teamwork; thus, we employ a wide range of approaches to ensure learning is equitable, interesting, engaging and relevant.
I look forward to celebrating the progress of our students.
